my weakness

You can ask anyone that lives with me. I love to bake chocolate chip cookies. And the 50 degree cold front that we had last week, coupled with my new measuring cups from Brooke, well it was just too much to resist.

Oh yum. I'm curious Holly, and all you bakers, what is it that you love about baking? I want to love baking, but blogging is the only thing I love to do lately. Kinda pathetic, only cause I literally don't do anything else. I don't scrapbook, I don't cook, I don't sew, I don't paint. I blog and read magazines. :)

Honestly, I don't know if there's one particular thing that makes me love to bake, except for the eating part of it. Wouldn't you agree Brooke?
But I'm the same way Tracy, I don't do much else, and I really want to have my hand in all of it and love it.

yeah, these cookies are definitely NOT low in w.w. points! i only make them if i have someone to give them to, otherwise they are too tempting to have around.

seriously, I would eat half the dough before it's baked, and then eat all the cookies I baked. I would justify it by saying that I won't eat anything else all day!

by the way, and I'm sorry for going off topic Holly, but I was afraid no one would see it if I commented below. If you haven't seen Sammie's clip below - stop now and WATCH it!!! I seriously think it could win 10,000 bucks!! I love it, and so did my whole family! She is a DOLL and I wish I could babysit her!!!

I love the measuring cups. They are so cute. Also, as we found out at Disneyland, your cookies are better than official Nestle ones:)

and yes, i love baking. the final product and the process... creative, yummy, interactive with my babies. i think it is the perfect activity.

aside from the calorie-thing. but i agree with courtney: ZERO points for dough! horray!

Tracy, I totally agree. That clip of Sammie is SO, SO funny! They should totally send it in to America's Funniest Videos. I love that she calls it a "tRoilet" but my favorite part is when she says, "I'm sorry" (very convincingly I might add) "NOW can you flush it Mommy?" She is so cute, even when getting into mischief!

Thanks for saying something Tracy, because no one commented about it, and so I kept thinking that maybe no one watched it, besides my family who had already seen it before.

My kids asked to watch it again today! And the cutest part Holly is that she says "Now can I flush it" (instead of "now can you flush it") I love it and crack up just as hard every time! I love her!!

Yes...Sammie is a DOLL! She was enchanting when we called her on her birthday. She thanked us for the "call," even. And, this clip is absolutely a classic.
Also, I have to say that Dad and I LOVE it when Holly bakes those cookies. yum, yum, yum

except that dad would probably prefer that i put walnuts in them which, in my opinion, would ruin them. but i need to do that more often so that i don't eat them!

Dangit! Why can't I see the clip? I'm lost! I know that whenever Tracy cracks up at something, then I likely will too. Oh, and guess what I'm baking tomorrow . . . your yummy cookies!!!

I would love to try your cookies. Though I cannot make them myself, a perfect chocolate chip cookie is my definition of Heaven on Earth. mmmmm. I hope you appreciate your talent.
