This girl is often found on the floor in the kitchen after she has gone into the pantry, found the Costco size bag of raisins and then plopped down on the cold, hard floor to eat them. She thinks it's pretty funny when she gets caught.
Oh, and I had dinner with your friend Kelley from Ladera last weekend. You see, we have mutual friends (the middle girl she loves in Kelley's PICKER post). And it was the husband of the mutual friend's birthday so we all went to CPK at the Spectrum. She is so nice (which I'm sure you already know).
Cherri (who was also at the birthday dinner) was like, "Did you know Kelley is a friend of Holly's, you know Beth's friend, and has a link to her blog on her site?" And I was like, "Really?" And she was all, "Yeah, really!"
But this was at church the next day so I didn't get to make the connection with her in person.
Jody, I've actually never met Kelley, we just have mutual friends in Ladera—James & Melissa whose link's on our sidebar, she also commented above and is on the left in the picture you referred to, next to your friend I think). But I agree, it is a small world!
Okay, I'm with Gwen. I love eating raisins right out of the Costco package...AND if you throw in some chocolate chips with them and a little drink of milk...yum, yum! Love, Grandma K
I can not believe how big Gwen is getting. It has been a while since you have posted a picture of her. We really need to get the three September cousins together. Next July is so far off.
i have kids that go to the pantry themselves too. i always tell myself that i'm teaching them to be independent-- so see yes, you are a great mom. (and so am i.)

At least it's something healthy and not the chocolate chips =).
True. However, if the chocolate chips were within reach she'd be eating those instead.
My kids LOVE raisins. And then I wonder, are they getting any nutrients from raisins (if you know what I mean)?

I think Kevin Bacon would be so proud to learn of our findings.
Do you know him too?!?
