sad. happy. sad.
With all this snow we have been getting hammered with over the last day and a half, I have been feeling a bit depressed.
But today I got something in the mail that made me happy. It was the pattern to make this Sandi Henderson skirt.
But now I'm depressed again because I need more fabric in order to make it.

And the most depressing thing is that you can't even go OUT and LOOK for fabric because of the snow. On the bright side, your mailman DID actually meet you in order to take your mail. I could do this all day....er night...
yes, but our mailbox is on our house, so he would have had to anyway.
still sad cause the snow just keeps falling.
Well, after you get the fabric and make one or two for your girls you will be such a pro that you could probably just whip up another one in no time at all. Tori is a size 3.
Just kidding, it looks really cute. I have been on line looking for patterns for Tori and never saw that one but then again I don't really know where to look.
cute. karly and ariana are a size 8. make those first then we will hand them down to inez. not matching though - they hate to match.
oh - and i have some fabric if you want me to run it over.
well, i have to say that i'm not as excited about it after reading the pattern. it's going to be quite a task!
after i make one for inez (and gwen if she's lucky) then i will make one for other lucky little girls. it will just cost their mothers the fabric, notions and a gajillion dollars. cash only.
That is so cute!!! You need to pass some sewing skills on to me!
maybe your sad can meet my sad for lunch and they'll cancel each other out.
(on a happy note: i tried our 'tried and true' one point cookies with a chocolate cake mix... it will quell the brownie craving, friend.)
not that you have a brownie craving.
i'm just saying if you ever do...
Just catching up on your blog... lots of cute little girls, yummy treats, and even yummier fabric! What a darling skirt--I'm in the process of projects for my little girlies, too. We'll see if they ever get finished ;o) So fun to peak in on you every now and then!
that skirt is adorable. When I look at it, it makes me think that it is spring and not actually cold and winter.
