If you're reading this...

...we're already gone.

Don't freak out! Everything's all right. Our beautiful new shiny blog is within your reach. Go there now by left-clicking the following internet hot link:

peasinourpod.com

It's that easy.

Now that that's over with, let's talk. The fact that you are here most likely means that you have the old address (hollylesue.blogspot.com) bookmarked. This is a mistake.

In fact, you should probably update your bookmark with the new address (http://peasinourpod.com) now. I mean, you REALLY should do it now. If you wait until later, you'll forget. You know you will. And then, a couple of days from now you'll find yourself reading this post again. And nobody wants that.

Come on. Don't do it for us. Do it for yourself.

the orchard, revisited

So I took the girls to check out/test the evening light for an upcoming photo shoot I had. They were pretty tolerant this time, but mostly because I just let them run and do what they wanted. No posing by me. Although, I did ask Gwen to smile for me, and this is what I got.

Love the cheese.

Love Inez's exasperated expression. Gwen was loving the frisbee.

Love those lips.

LOVE the light here.

Love the flared nostrils on Nez.

Love the love. Two little buddies—makes my heart melt when they love each other like this.

Love my little models.

(Hay que hacer "click" to see Gwen's expression here. It's classic Gwen.)

colors

If you have been to my house, then you know how much I love bright colors. We have every color of the rainbow painted throughout the house, except purple and that's just never gonna happen.

When it comes to sewing, I prefer to use Gütermann thread. But when I was searching for a certain color in my sewing supplies, I ran across all these spools of Coats & Clark. Well, they just looked so pretty in the morning light so I snapped their photo.

I had been looking for the right shade of green to match this swatch.

Inez then stacked them all up and requested that I took a picture of her tower o' thread.

And speaking of color, I cannot figure out what color Gwen's eyes are.

What do you think? Jon?

how 'bout them apples?

I love this apple print by Sandi Henderson. I love it even more coupled with the green.

Plus, it's reversible.

More Sandi Henderson in orange & yellow, which has an orange back.

But this one is my favorite thus far. In fact I made two, but can only bring myself to put one of them in my etsy shop.

And it's reversible too.

29 weeks or seven-ish months

Well that's interesting. I never knew that I'm a bit cross-eyed.

And for the record, this is an extremely active baby. Yesterday I kept playing Mo' Money Mo' Problems by Biggie, over and over because baby was diggin' the song and moving like crazy. I mean, it is a good song, but who knows what that's supposed to mean.
